If you have played past versions of FIFA, you are probably familiar with the POTM process. FIFA players can vote on the best footballers that month in their domestic league, with the winner getting an upgraded card reflecting their form.

To do so, FIFA offers the possibility for fans to vote for one of the many players preselected by the publisher. The fan vote counts as part of the final result. The winning player will get a special card (receiving a boost) available through a DCE for one month.

A second La Liga Player of the Month is set to be announced in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and October’s award will be hotly contested.

Every side in the top six has a player nominated for October, with Atletico’s Luis Suarez and Real Madrid’s David Alaba the biggest names.

FIFA 22 La Liga Player of the Month October release date
EA haven’t yet offered an official release date has for the October La Liga Player month card in FIFA 22, however, we expect it to land on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Based on how the process worked with Karim Benzema last month, fans will have a week to vote for their winner out of the seven nominees.

The SBC to earn the special card is then expected to drop in FIFA 22 on the first Friday of the month.

POTM and investing in FUT
The La Liga DCEs are generally quite decent in terms of price (at least on FIFA 21) although a lot of players are investing in these challenges. Indeed, it is recommended to buy cards from La Liga players, including Real and Barca as regularly as possible, in order to sell them on the day of the release of the DCE.
