The newest feature in MU Origin is the Halidom System, which can be placed on a character's shoulders to increase their combat strength. Another addition is the Holy Gear which is used especially in PvP. There are four types of Holy Gear: HP, DEF, DMG, and Thunder. Each of the Holy Gear has four skills and can be activated when the gear reaches Tier 1, Tier 50, Tier 120, and Tier 200. Every skill has different effects and is enhanced further when the skill level gets higher.

Following a previous Hero feature, new Hero-based features such as Hero Statue and Shrine War have been included in the update. Players will be able to enhance their Hero by evolving the Hero Statue which can be acquired by defeating enemies in the sacred battlefield, Shrine War.
