World of Warcraft: Shadowlands The upcoming 9.1.5 patch is now available in the game's public testing realm, and new patch notes reveal even more changes coming to Blizzard's MMO that hadn't previously been released.

The biggest of these changes is the removal of the game’s range (or AOE) cap. With the AOE cap added to Shadowlands, so many abilities to attack multiple enemies can only affect the maximum number of targets. This is no longer 9.1.5 and the abilities currently limited by the AOE are displayed instead of reducing damage to enemies beyond the first 5 targets.

Not much changed and players found ways around this, meaning that fewer and fewer classes were brought to mythic+ groups as they didn't have the damage to pull massive.

This change still lets those classes who were always target capped like a fury warrior perform well on 4-5 targets, and those who are uncapped take advantage of larger pulls.
